Ed went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 12. Tomorrow, I'll work on a bow and smoke a pipe in his honor.

So sorry to hear that. It was an honor to meet him at cloverdale. I wish I would have spent more time talking bows with him.

I didn't know him, but I shall spare a though for him and all our loved ones who have gone as I loose an arrow today.

An amazing guy and an awesome bowyer. I wish I could have learned a few things from him.

Man .... Just getting into this hobby and I have seen a few video's on the Tube with Mr Scott they are very inspiring to watch I hope his knowledge and inspiration live on! (the interview with him was one of the videos that I came across that inspired me into this hobby)

Ed's bows were works of art; recognizable as he had his own unique style. Sad news, the passing of Ed. He was a inspiration to many. Spent several hours chatting with him at Cloverdale. Nice fella. I too will loose an arrow towards the heavens tonight, in Ed's honor.
