This ones been done for a while now but I'm pretty lazy about posting any of my work these days. I made her for my father as a Christmas prestent, and I will get a picture up of him drawing the bow as soon as I can. Made from the sister split of another bow I posted on here, 'October', and is also completely free of knots. Backed with western diamondback skins, yew and horn tip overlays, and a tortoise shell strike plate. 59" ntn and pulls 54# at 27" and like its sister, held on to a good amount of its reflex. The last picture is of the two bows side by side showing off their matching wiggles and knot free limbs.

Finally got around to getting a picture of my father drawing the bow. Though looks like he'll need to work on getting it to a full anchor...ha!
I know he's much stronger than me, probably just needs to gain confidence in the bows durability... ;) At least you get the idea...

I se some nice Bows right there in the Front Yard......where do you live in Illinois!!!!!!!!!! >:D

Ya...the white stuff has been here in large quantities this year!
Ha, if those trees weren't so pretty I'd say you can have them, I have no interest in maple or oak for anything other than firewood! :D This area is just crazy full of bow wood though. Maple, white, red, and post oak, walnut, cherry, ironwood, birch, mulberry, hickory, ash, erc, elm, persimmon, and osage all grow in my neighborhood!
