So we were at a party store looking for a piņata for my daughter's birthday. They had all kinds of sizes and animals. I thought it would be funny to fill one with expanding foam and use as a target. Or run a fun shoot called piņata hunter or a fiesta themed shoot. Anyone ever use a piņata for a target?

No.
But I've done that very thing with yard sale stuffed animals. If you try the pinatas, mix some shredded or ripped cloth in with the spray foam. The fibers help it last longer. I was surprised at how many shots some of the stuffed animals took. It had a lot to do with toughness of the fabric on the outside. The cheapo ones went in a few days. You could probably get a full day out of some cardboard animals.
You should fill them with candy and shoot 3" turkey heads at um. Don't forget the blindfold and 10 get you dizzy spins.

It sounds like a lot of fun, should work fine
