here do you all get your RO , maple, and hickory boards for bows ?

A hardwood supplier, call a ustum cabinet shop and see where they get wood

Anyone who lives in/near Amish country might wanna try one of there saw mills. They'll definately be sawing all the locally available soft and hardwoods and are in my experience pretty willing to help you out. They'll also know who is building furniture etc .... Like who buys all their hickory, and you might be able to get your hands on scraps.

Seems a lot of the commercial type lumber yards I've talked to are pricks and don't let you rummage through the boards (some places are great but others are PITAs).
