Perhaps Pearly put some kind of cut shelf hex on me... ::)
I don't typically do any kind of pistol grip or a cut shelf as I have an aversion towards mimicking glass lam bows, but haven't done one since I first started 13 years ago and guess I wanted to try one out with better trained eyes...

I'm not one for copying glass bows either but the pistol grip really is just more ergonomic than my usual wrapped stick. I can't deny that it's technically better for consistency and comfort, so I just use it when it fits or it's requested. So far it's requested more than it fits ;) ;D
