Title: sapwood on the belly?

Well here's a first for me. An osage stave that grew up against another tree. The sapwood bends around the one side and goes into the belly. It was like the side of the stave was a back too. All the weird stuff is now worked away.

Will it have any sapwood left on the belly after tillering?

Nah...looks like it came from a normal small stave now.
