Bubby, that is Rainey Buttes chert/petrified wood. I brought 400lbs to the North GA Knap-in and sold/traded all of it there. I know that some that I sold was going to the Classic. It is possible that you got some of what I brought. Abrade strong platforms, hit it hard and run the ridges. Enjoy, it's fun to work. Rick B

Ya know, I was right there watching it rain on rainy buttes for a couple months on a job. Never did find anything like that but lots of petrified wood. Lots of dinosaurs and tree stumps out there.
