I'm sure this has been asked before, but I've looked and looked and can't find any relevant posts. I'm almost done with a hickory self bow and I'm planning to add bone tips. What would be the best glue for attaching the tips? The bow will draw about 50# @28". Thanks in advance

I've used gel super glue, TBIII and 2ton epoxy all with good results.

The best thing about it is you just have to squeeze it with your fingers a few seconds then after 15 mins I'm shapeing it

The natural oils in Bone can make it difficult to get strong bond even with good CA glue. Prepping the surface is key. Wiping with a solvent can work, but needs to be done thoroughly or it only wicks more oil to the surface.
I wipe the surface of the bone down with vinegar. Vinegar or other acid works well to degrease the bone. Then glued with loctite pro. This has been the only thing that works consistently for me.

Never thought of vinegar, Carson. I'll have to give it a try.
