Hello all, I've shot recurves and longbows for years and Ive read a lot on Native American bows from the eastern region. There seems to be a lot of knowledge here of native bows. I'm wondering if any of the southeastern natives made any recurves? Just curious

The Cayuga weren't from the Southeast but were of the Eastern Woodland Culture and there is an example of a bendy handle recurve in Hamm's/Allely book of Native American bows arrows and quivers.
A few of us here on PA built a similar bow in one of the Community Bow Projects we did a while back.
