Hello,
recently a friend woodworker gave me a keruing 62" x 2" x 1/2" flat sawn board. This stuff is hard, it is used for flooring and deckings. I want to try a boo or something else for backing and the keruing for the belly. Has anyone of you any experience with this wood?
greetings
Sergio

I've never heard of it but hickory might be a good backing for it.
