Here's a few of my Walking sticks I've been putting together. First time I've tried using bamboo. I've made a few of the ones with hatchet heads but I always end up getting talked out of the one I make for myself.
-
Is the RR spike head the one you got from me?
They look mighty good, Eddie. Modern versions of the pole ax. ;)
-
Nice work Eddie. I like the hatchet sticks
-
Cool sticks Eddie, although you may scare a few random hikers you might encounter on the trail with those hatchet heads. ;D
-
Yea, Pat, that's the one. Damn, I still owe you for it I think. :) I call them Bowyer's Staffs and when I can get some nice leather and time I'll put a cover on them.
-
Cool! They would work well for clearing a trail...both of small brush and people. Lol! Josh
-
They look nice Eddie. Was the boo growing that way.
-
Yes Sir, it was.
-
Those are cool Eddie - the one looks like a Deer foot. Bob

Got to love them, very nice work Eddie. :)

A little here and a little there, Dave ;).

I hear ya, Leroy. Those are my favorites and always on the look out for them at the flea market.

Cool! 8) Now you need to carve some snakes on those twisty ones, or dragons, or.... oh never mind, just my mind taking off on a wild tangent. But pretty nice. Yeah, it would kind of leave you walk a trail alone, when other hikers, passed you, or started to over take, and you stop, and look at them, and laugh under your breath, in a somewhat evil way, and pet, your hatchet head, and tell it..... Soon, my pretty, soon, now. :o :P I think that should get the yuppies off the trail...... but you might find someone, who really is..... uh, into a little farther out type of hiking on the trails. :o
