Title: Feathers

 This may be a dumb question, But can you use both sides of the turkey wing feather?
 I told you I was new to this. thanks for your help.

From what I understand is that you only use the side with the most feather on it. Discard the other side from what I hear. But the tail feathers you can use both sides.

On Primary feathers there is only one side to use, on secondaries you can use both sides but make sure you keep em in sets.
Primaries are at the very front of the wing, the secondaries are closer to the body on the wing and also are quite a bit softer.

Sure, you can use the other side as long as it's big/tall/stiff enough. Just don't mix them on the same arrow- the off side of a right-wing feather has the same curvature as a left-wing feather.
