I was off work last week so I thought I would cut a little cane. Well, I cut a little, then a little more and...well you get the picture.
Anyway, i'll be at Pappy's this spring and will give whoever needs some 2 for every one you'll help me straighten ;D ;D ;D Heck, I might even cut ya a better deal than that, Lord knows I don't need 'em all. I just thought I'd cut plenty but sometimes I get carried away.
So who's coming?

I cut some smaller ones with your wife in mind.

I don't mean to keep rambling on, but what's the best way to store these and do you think it would hurt them if I put some in a low temp dry kiln. Something like 120-140 degrees? I'm afraid they won't be dry by May.

Just tie a string to them and hang em up so they can get good air flow, heat might crack em.

Me to, and if them aren't ready I'll have some that are. :) Might even ride down to the far side of the farm and cut a few for anyone that want some.I have over an acer in the bottom. :)

I'm going to try my best to make it, especially if work interferes with OJAM (which is looking somewhat likely >:( >:( ). If I come, I'll bring some trading material. I haven't found any cane (not real sure what I'm looking for), but I did find some stuff that scraped well, straightened well and is looking to make a good stick, and I have no idea what kind of wood it is. :-[
That looks like a nice haul.
