Title: goose and turkey feathers??
Post by: lowell on January 23, 2008, 07:13:11 pm
Probably been discussed but I don't remember ???

Can I use a goose cock feather with 2 turkey ...or visa versa and still expect good arrow flight.

I would be using primaries from the same wing!! ;)

   Thanks, Lowell

Personally, I would do it. I made a pretty arrow from two turkey wing feathers and a white domestic feather (also turkey) for the cock feather. The one was a lot softer than the others, and it flew very well.

Yep, canada goose and wild turkey primaries work great together.
