Title: easy shaving horse
Post by: Renacs on February 25, 2015, 01:58:58 pm
I just wanted to share with you a quick easy shaving horse that I made. I found the info. From this website and received the directions from lebhuntfish. Thanks Patrick.  The material consisted of  (3 1/2) 2x4" a 7/8" piece of wood dowel and a handfull  of screws.  Joe

Your welcome buddy! Glad to see you got her done! Mine gas been treated pretty rough with some of my big staves and still holding together.

Little note though. You will want to cut all of your angles on the 2xs where your seat is. They get pretty rough on the butt. Also round off the edges on the bed too, and add some thick leather. Nothing like trying to fix dents in a nice clean back on a stave. I also angle cut the legs so they set flush. It helped on the stability.

Told ya it wasn't too hard to put together and it's cheap and functional. Patrick

I like it, and I can see where the modifications would come in.
