Title: Ramey blade

i was asked to build a Ramey type blade in the 5" range and this is what I came up with. It's not a super piece of rock and the work is less than museum quality, but I decide to stop on it due to the uniqueness of the piece.

Very cool to find unique formations in the rock. I think it is awesome to break open a piece of rock that is millions of years old and be the first person to see what is inside. It is in a way an honor to be that knapper and then to make a useable tool out of it..sorry went a little deep there☺️

Thanks guys. I had no idea the skin was so thin in that big fossil cavity until I held it up to the window. And the nearly complete shell just below it is full of crystal. Just super cool to hold in ur hand and examine. Too bad the edge failed on the top fossil.
