Title: Wannabe Hillstyle

Hi,

I wanted to build a Hill-Style- Bow ... relatively unsuccessful; D
It has become a bow I like to shoot, and its pretty fast O:) But you can't call it Hillstyle. ::) ;)

The facts;)

Length: 67 "
Width: 3cm at the fade-outs, 1cm at the tips
Total weight: 498 g
Material: Bamboo Bamboo and walnut.
String: FF 10 String
Draw weight: ~ 45 #
Oberlays: bobinga
Handle wrap: Leather probably from cattle ;D
Arrow Rest: Horn also from cattle
Finish: Shellac and Hard Oil

I don't care what style a bow is, as long as it shoots good, that's a fine looking one, good work!

If that bow was mine, I'd get those fades working.

I was thinking it needs to work a little more on the inner 1/3 to the fades.It seems like your non working section is a bit too long, but thats just me. At 66" you could pike it a couple inches to make up for the loss in weight while making adjustments to tiller on the inner portion. Wait and see what some of the others say, but if your happy with it then don't worry about it. If its a shooter, its a shooter.
