Title: Couple new points
Post by: Parnell on February 04, 2015, 09:17:04 am
Been doing more bow work again than knapping.  Things rotate which is why this hobby is so great.
Here are a couple points I've done recently.  The left point is raw but came out nice and the right is horse creek the Mullet gave me.
I have to say that is the nicest material I've knapped.  Silky.

Great points,  I like the shapes, and the finish work on both.  Thanks for posting! I wish more people would post points.  It's always good to see that people are still flint Knapping.   Nice color also

The points look good. It's always nice to try a new piece of stone and have success with stuff you have knapped before.

Thanks guys!  Yup, I love that deep red color, too.  I'll be on the hunt for more of that material at the knapp-in at Silver River in a couple weeks.
