This bow ended up being very snappy with such a smooth release, I think it might be next years hunter. I am looking forward to seeing what the hot humid summer does to its performance, it is so dry right now. 66", mid 50's at 28" draw. I trapped the back and tempered the belly. This was my first bush league attempt at the fancy grip.

Sweet bow Robert! I like.
-
When they hold a profile like that hickory is real snappy wood. Enjoy it while it is dry. I wish my climate was a bit dryer here.
-
Sweet bend man nice job
-
Classic look. I bet it iiisss fast.
-
Thanks Chris, badger, bubby, and chief. I am going to do my best at trying to keep this dry over the summer. See if the hot box helps maintain it.
-
If you have central air in the house it should be okay this spring and summer.
-
Super nice bow man!
-
Beautiful bow, well done
-
Great looking bow.
-
Man that is one sweet bow. I love the profile. The humidity where I am drops dramatically in the warmer months. It would probably be a great shooter out here O:)
-
That's a beauty. Really like your stain or dye job. How wide did you make it?
-
I like it.
-
NICE! The tiller is outstanding. No wonder it's so snappy.
-
Good looking bow man, looks better than my recent attempt at the Strunk grip
-
That is a great tiller! It will be fine in the summer. Just leave it in AC when not shooting it. Jawge
-
Great looking hickory stick! really like the dye job.

Thank you Will H, falcon, osage outlaw, Matt, you ever try hickory? I have lots if you need a stave. GB, it is 1 5/8 at the widest, springbuck, arrowind, peacebow, jawge, and Danz Bar. It is black leather dye and provincial stain. Much appreciated.

Beautiful bends! How does that handle feel in your hand? I'm fine with any handle, but I had a customer tell me he wants a thick handle in a bendy-handled bow. I'll build it up with leather.
What's your humidity throughout summer?
-
Fist class work, tiller, finish and even that handle wrap has style, cool bow. 8)
-
Nice job Bob ;)
-
Yes indeed, that's a fine looking hickory stick. Enjoy!
-
I've only worked a couple of boards early on pm me if you want to work something out :)
-
Awesome job !!! You know you've done good when a hickory bow has no string follow.
-
That is a killer stick o' hick! 8)
-
that's a very nice looking bow! and it sure looks fast !
Very nicely done!
-
Thanks chadwick, the handle feels just right to me, and I don't know the humidity range exactly, but it gets pretty sticky, and I don't have central air. Thanks Badly Bent, Chris, Drewster, Joe123able, Carson, and adams89.

Good looking bow. I like it.
-
That looks great! I agree with Jawge on the air conditioning. I live in a place with sweltering heat and humidity in the summertime and my hickory bows hold up fine as long as I don't do something stupid and leave them in the truck all day. That one ought to make meat next season.

it`s a beauty, also the tiller is top
-
Like that stick, classy looking with an awesome dye job. Wish I have hick in my pile ...

Very nice love the dark stain
