So im sick as a dog but cant sleep. I just want to be knocked out. Normally I get drunk but cant because im busy tomorrow morning. This sucks.
-
lol I really didn't know what to expect when reading the title of this. Best of luck and hope ya have a speedy recovery.
-
I know how you fell, I have had bouts of sleeplessness a few times. Its tough especially when you think about it.
-
When I'm sick, I sleep. Always have. Sorry you can't. Try reading a good(or bad) book while laying down and see if that helps.
M wife used to wait tables. When she'd get home at 1am after being on point all night she had a hard time going to sleep. Someone suggested she takes calcium(with magnesium) to relax her after work...and it worked. Folks used to drink a glass of warm milk, the same principle. Go get you some calcium/magnesium tablets. They are cheap where ever vitamins are sold...and you won't get a hangover. ;)

Thanks I'll give that a try.I wound up watching family guy episodes until my brain cells started leaking out my ears and my eyes glassed over.

The great barefoot hunter is sick 4 days later! Shoes sleek, shoes!

Hehe ironic isnt it? Its been since the 15 that I did that. Moccasins are in order for next year though

...also, Benadryl is a sleep aid. I know if I take one I go right to sleep.
-
Benadryl is my go to. The one combined with Aleve is what I like most. Do not take with alcohol at night. It is suppose to wreck your kidneys or something.

Sleep, sleep, sleep, what I wouldn't give for 3 or 4 hours straight. Had my shoulder fixed a week ago, no way to find a pain free position to get to sleep in. The pain meds work but I won't take them because of the side effects. I have 6 hours of rehab every day that leaves me feeling like a sore zit, all over.
We all take sleep for granted until something crops up that reminds us just how precious a good nights sleep is.

Ever wonder why good mattresses are so expensive? I am wound tight when I get home from a night of snow plowing. Reading really helps. Even if I have been up for 24 hours, I still can't hit the rack and sleep. Whiskey helps too. >:D
