I took my new bow to the range the other night and shot much better(still poorly) than with the bow I had been using. The old one is 38#(OK so I'm a wuss) and the new one is 33#. Would the difference in draw weight account for the better shooting or should I be looking at something else?

Five pounds could make a difference I'd say. Bob

I dropped 7# and it was like night and day difference. Especially when I shoot 30 - 40 shots, it makes a big difference in stamina in my case.

heck. my drop from 55# to 52 # made all the difference to me! i could not believe :o

Less is uselly better when it comes to shooting weights.
