Title: Some macro wood pics

Made some nice pics of black locust and wych elm with my mobile phone.

Maybe someone wants to see :D

You can see the the earlier grown wood and the late wood pretty well, also the little "rings" within the annual rings of wytch elm are well visible.

Absolutely beautiful!  The day the grain of the wood does not draw my eye is the day you get the shovel and the pine box out for me.

I loooooove cutting the ends off my locust. Looking at the rings and how they grew, the shine under the weathered exterior, the glass-like sound when you tap the end grain...
