A little road trip through Northern California proved quite fruitful, got me some more yew for the future, and an awesome tree at that. :D 6' long, 6" at the base and 4.5" at the top, almost perfectly clean on one half, other might have one full length stave but a couple billets. 40 rings per inch, and no tensions/compression wood. Really nice stuff, worth carrying the 100# log 1/4 mile out of the woods! Happy holidays everyone!

DC, it has a little twist, maybe 10-20 degrees or so, but nothing crazy. I would have been pretty heartbroken if this piece had spiraled on me,
