Title: Japanese arrow bamboo?
Post by: Prarie Bowyer on December 15, 2014, 07:59:04 pm
Where to get some?   ???

Stumbled across see and rhizomes but it would take 2years to get shafts?

I'm in ia so it may freeze...unless grown in a pot.

There is also this  "Fargesia sp. 'Scabrida'  ". This is a cold hardy, clumping bamboo. I'm growing some but I just planted it this summer so I don't have any samples. I saw this plant in a nursery and it had very round straight stems so I bought one.
