Title: rabbit skin glue

Any views on the effectiveness of this glue for rawhide?

I think it will work fine, but I have never used it personally. 

If you have doubt, use Knox.  Cheap and easily found in the supermarket.

I've used it mixed with Knox and haven't had any bad results.

It has quite a high grease content to make it flexible at the expense of pure bond strength. It also gels very fast so you will need your shop warm.

what about titebond liquid hide glue?
