Well, Gidget is finished and she's a real shooter. She is 52 1/2" t/t and pulls 50#@26". She has 2 courses of cow sinew put down with hide glue and a water snake(I think) covering(hide glue also). The tip overlays are lemonwood just like Island Girl and a hemp cord handle wrap and a hair on cowhide floppy rest.
The tiller seems to be off a bit in the bottom limb but that limb twists one way than the other through the handle and out that limb making it look that way and it may be but she shoots vey well with no hand shock and she's as quiet as a mouse. here are a few pics...

Thanks bubby. She is going to be part of a set I put together for the raffle table at the Tenn Classic. I'm going to build a coyote quiver and a set of arrows to accompany Gidget on the raffle table. ;)

That's a fine looking little sister. A sibling to be proud of.
-
Thanks guys. She's a pleasure to shoot. I'll post some pics of the sisters together tomorrow.
-
Looks like a sweet little bow Pat. I'll be dropping some tickets on that one.
If that skin came from me its a black rat snake. I can't remember what all I sent you. It sure looks good on it.
-
Another cool bow, thanks for sharing it pat
-
Yeah Clint, it came from you. Its one skin tip to tip. The other skins were a tanned black snake and a back and belly of a black snake. The one on Gidget has a pattern. You'd know better than me. ;D
-
Its a black rat snake roadkill then. They have a decent pattern. Its the same kind of snake as the one Pearly put on his BOY. That one was a lot bigger though. You could have backed a 70" bow with that skin.

Well I guess nothing has changed in the last 10 years. You still have that full beard and you bows still all look great!
-
I believe I'll start putting a couple dollars a week aside to bring to the classic and put in the can for the raffle,
I certainly wouldn't mind owning that bow. Love the profile, finish and specs on that beauty, whoever wins
that one is gonna go home from the Classic a little extra HAPPY. :)

Fine work Pat! She's a beauty! I do believe that I'm gonna have to buy a bunch of tickets in an effort to reclaim that piece of wood! Well done Sir! Josh
