Title: Reducing draw weight
Post by: DC on November 16, 2014, 08:51:35 pm
I'm happy with the tiller but want to shed a few pounds. Do I take equal scrapes the full length of the limb or do I go a little lighter as I approach the tips?

If the tiller is dead on, scrape the whole limbs. If also reduced width with some success.
go slow, pounds can be shed pretty quick

Take 5 long, even scrapes on both limbs, exercise well and check the weight and tiller. Repeat until you get the draw weight you are looking for.

I have to shoot it for a while to make sure but it looks about 5 or so pounds heavy.
