Started like this.
"Papa, I shot a doe tonight and she went 40 yards and dropped". My eleven year old grandson, Jeb, shot his first bow kill deer last night. He was so excited about his kill and telling me the story. Jeb has worked real heard all summer and fall with practicing his archery skills. At one point this fall he removed him self from the woods because he wasn't shooting real well.
I am as proud a grandpa as I can be but I know my dad is looking down with a smile at his great grandson.

Hey Jon! That is great news! I've watched Jeb grow up through the past few years into a fine young boy. He definitely has some of his Papa in him. You've been a great influence to Jeb. Congratulations.
