I'm working on my first overlays. They are deer horn, and I was wondering what kind of glue to use on them. I have tight bond 2, instabond super glue(really good stuff) and some 10 min epoxy.
I tried the superglue One time and glued cocobola to maple just to see if it would work. When I finally broke it off it ripped the maple and didn't give way at the glue line. Patrick

Super glue. Fill the porous areas with super glue, then sand it clean and smooth, then glue them down to the bow.

I use locktite professional on my antler overlays. As long as the surfaces are flat it will hold.

Best super glue around Ryguy

Thanks guy's, Pearl I was wondering about the core of the horn. Where would I find Ryguy? Patrick

Loctite Professional is the best super glue on the market, in my opinion.
