More off the tips? 55@28 68" bottom limb on the right side

Looks good to me. The right limb could maybe use a few scrapes right past midlimb, but other than that-I'd call it done. :)
-
I say it looks perfect ;)! if it wasn't for that black line I wouldn't have seen the right limb not bending as far - that being the lower limb, is it shorter or stiffer?

Know I see it.

Now I suppose I better figure out how I goin to cord this thin. I need to take it down to 45# or my bones might break or my arms will shake.

As the viking guy in "The Thirteenth Warrior" told the Arab............. "Grow stronger!" ;D

I don't eat enough I just eat every Hour am I'm still bones.I think 45# I dont shake But, 50 if I don't take to long on the draw, I'm fine

last post for this thread so here is the final sanded bow at tiller 45 or 50 @28 my scale is not always cooperative. Now for the Cord after I make a flemish.
Oh By the way the lower limb is a 1/2 in closer to the line thats in the first tiller pic.

Man I love that tiller, I think It's perfect (though I'm not a master). I would seal it and go huntin, or shootin - whatever you were making it for :).
-
Looks good to me Phil. Nice bends in the limbs. ;) Pat
-
Looks good to me... time to shut her down and go shooting.
-
Very nice! I'd shoot her some then check it again before finishing. :)
-
You guys with much less tillering experience than myself put me to shame. That looks great to me. I wouldn't even give it a second look! Steve
-
That one looks done to me.
-
I'd be afraid to do much more to it other than put a finish on it!!! Nice job!

here is the thrilly the thrilly design. Shoots pretty good i say. think I'll put double rest on the handle, fletchings fell like thier slitting my hand.
Left a bit of Deflex so as to add a bit more weight/Stiff? when I tention the cord, that gonna be the tricky part, maybe I should just forget the cord . I'll keep ya up do date here, no Build along yet.

Well I came to a conclusion, Those Hints you guy were telling me made me think Hmmm I only would use cording if the wood was a softer more unstable wood so I decided forget the cord back this thing shoots like an eagle on a fish.
I just put some rests on the sides and call it finist

Well done PK,Look nice to me. :)

Nice job. I would only add that when I tiller I use set to determine how much stiffer the lower limb needs to be, preferably working the bow by actually shooting it, shortened draw when appropriate. Our objective is to balance the load, even if it looks uneven on the tree. Beautiful bow. I'm guessing in the one picture posted where it is unstrung the lower limb is on the right? I'm guessing the upper may have a smidge more set? Beautiful bow.

Well here is the final Product Hope ya like it. 3 Days to make a Good hunter bow, geesh!

Good work PK, you should be proud of it. Justin

Man, that thing is bending very nicely - I need to work on my tillering skills :).
-
The tiller looks great on that one PK. My only suggestion would be to narrow and round the handle somewhat to make it more comfortable to shoot.
-
Thanks, I think I will change the handle a bit Looks to un american for me.
-
Well done PK, tiller looks excellent.

Thanks Friends.

For some reason with hickory Ive been getting a better tiller with the side boards instead of the center even grain, why is that?
