Title: What kind of Bow is this?
Post by: golfmeup on October 23, 2014, 04:34:19 pm: I have this bow but can't find any information about it. Can anyone help me with it? It measures 42" L x 3.25" W

They also used self bows of bay and oak with pin nocks. North of the bay was the sinew backed yew paddle bow. The seperation was there between the Pomo north and Bay Miwok south

If it's an artifact then you need to find out the history on how it came to be yours and go from there. Beautiful bow. The tips don't look recurved are they?
