I do believe this is the shortest adult spec bow I've ever tillered. It's a 50" NTN BBO R/D bow. It pulls 40#@26". I had some leftover bits of WDB skins, so I dressed her up a little too. I'm not a huge fan of short bows... they're a bit harder to shoot well, but this bow should be fun in the bush. I was a bit worried about stacking. I knew the string angle would be approaching 90 degrees at full draw. However, at my full draw of 26", it's fine. It has a 7" non-bending handle, and if look close, you can see there's a power lam in the grip. It is bamboo backed, and I'm not a huge fan of bamboo either. Too unpredictable IMO. This bow was glued up years ago, and has been sitting on the to-do pile for a long time... probably about 6-7 years ago.

If you look close, you can see the power lam in the grip. And the money shot, of course! It's certainly bending, that's for sure!
Oh, yah... the grip and tips are cocobolo.
With some 600 series goldtip carbon arrows, weighing 5.7 grains/inch (blasphemy, I know!), this little bow shoots these arrows like laser beams out to 30 yards. It's a cool little bow, and one of the few I've made lately that has put a smile on my face! ;D

Cool bow and really nice work.

Very nice Adam. A little out of character for you but a very nice bow indeed. 8)

I agree. Totally out of character for me! That's about the only reason I posted it. ;)

Good looking shorty, Adam. If it was mine I'd have to get rid of that extra wood behind the nocks. Then it wood be shorter ;D.

Super work. The tiller spot on. Those shorties can be tricky to shoot... But sure are fast. Nice job
