Title: sioux bow

Has anyone made a sioux stile bow. If so can you send me some pics or posibly a build along. Thank you I would like to make a reproduction.

If you are gonna do repros you should get Steve Allely and Jim Hamm's books on NA bows arrows and quivers. Lots of nice examples. Most Sioux bows are between 40 and 45 inches in length with a narrowed handle and tips. Usually double nocks on bottom and single on top.

Ya, get the encyclopedia of bows arrows and quivers vol 2. Theres 5 or 6 pages on Sioux stuff.
