Title: New neck knife

Hickory Bill and I worked out a trade and I received this knife blade(blank). It has a 2 1/8" blade and is 4 3/4"OA. I added the cow horn scales with peened brass rods...

...and today I made a neck sheath with carp skin cover(thanks Pearlie) with a twisted thread lanyard...

PS, I traded some soapstone pipes for a bunch of stuff and a neck knife was in the deal. I'll get a pic.

Looks pretty sweet all finished up bud..I'm glad ya liked it..You gonna wear it to the classic in The spring..( yes I'm already counting the months and days..)

Nice necker there pat....I got me a hickorybill necker too with an osage handle on it ;) ...ahhhhh(sigh) the classic  :laugh:

Nice Pat!  Like those cow horn scales.  Gonna have to try that.  Now, I just need to get my hands on some blanks.
