I had grand plans to make lots of bows this summer and this is the only one I made. Despite not being as prolific as I intended I'm quite pleased with this bow that I did manage to finish. It is 50#@28" and 60" ntn. It's made from a beautiful piece of osage with very few flaws. The tips are sheep horn and have a very striking natural contrast to them that I really like. I thought about adding snake skins to this bow but I'm glad that I decided against it. I think it is beautiful in its simplicity. The hand wrap is leather with calf lace. The finish is eight coats of tru-oil buffed to a satin finish. The string is fastflight with nylon serving. The bow shoots fast and draws smooth. I'm really happy with how it turned out. I hope you enjoy it.
