Title: Bendy Handle Recurve bows?
Post by: WoodBenderDW on September 21, 2014, 06:36:30 pm
Has anyone made a recurve bow that bends through the handle similar to the D-style longbows do?  If yes, how well do they work or should I say how well do they shoot?  I would love to see pictures as well.

The Cayua style bows were bendy, slightly deflexed handle bows with reflexed outer limbs.

Marc's Mohegan  bows are excellent examples of this style of bow.

Hard to see it clearly, but this is the only pic I have. Blackhawk owns the bow now. I think its 60-62" ntn.
