Title: strings?

Hi all, I have always used dacron 50 bow string but Daughterinlaw and Grand daughter are really grooven some of the other colors like pink offered in some of the other strings. My question astro, or fast flite come in these colors most of the bows I build are self bows and an occasional boo back. if it don't shoot on a self bow it wont likely be used. Will these other strings work for me. Thank you.

My grand daughter wanted pink, flo green and purple so I bought  B 500 just to make a couple of strings for her.
I don't like B 500 because it doesn't feel right when I make a string.  Kind of limp and unwaxed.

 I don't know about using fast flite on self bows.

D-97 comes in a lot of different colors.

I have shot DF97 on all my selfbows for years. At the last Catch-A-Dream shoot at lake Enid in Ms Chad Weaver (BCY dealer) donated mucho spools of various string material to raise money for the cause. There were all kinds of girlie colors in every type of material (B-50, DF-97 and a bunch more), pink, lavender, lime green and about every other color of the rainbow.
