I stopped by a pawn shop today. Just killing some time while waiting on my truck to get fixed. I found this red coon hide hanging on the wall. I never seen one before but had to have it. They had a tag on it that said morning coon. Have anyone ever seen one before?

I've trapped some that were pretty red on their under belly, and legs, but I've never seen one that red. It's pretty cool.

Could that skin been left in direct sunlight for a long time and faded a bit?

Pat, I don't think so but not sure. It don't look like it to me. I done a little research and Found some online . Patrick
