O:) O:) I must have startled the perp when I went to the truck
for some tools last night.
Didn't even know my garden was about to be cleaned out.
I found the lope about 50 feet from the garden in direction of the woods.
If it was ripe I bet he wouldn't have dropped it. My lopes are GOOD.
Dag Nabbit! I am sure he/she will be back for my last ear of corn.

The coyotes are stealing them from the Amish folks back home ( northern Ontario)

Humm, I don't have a Coyote skull. I knew the teeth marks
were bigger than a fox. My first thought when I saw the lope
so far from the vine.
There are reports of Coyoties here but I have never seen one. ???
Need to check there dental attributies. Thanks lostarrow

No problem. I wouldn't have ever thought coyotes either but they actually saw them do it. When you think of it , some peoples dogs love the stuff. I would think the bear would just sit and eat it. more their style.

coyotes around here eat watermelons but they just eat them right there in the field due to their size. I can't stand cantaloupes so I don't know how they treat them.

El' Chupacabre' is my bet.

My cat likes all kinds of fruits and veggies. The only thing I have to chase off is snails.

The 'yotes like all kinds of melons down here. Seems like they are real fond of Water melons and Honey dews.

You guys make shootin arrows fun.
Eddie I hope they eat each and every Honey Do.
I used to hate that list when I had a honey.
There is a bear sized dog the neighbors let loose after dark.
