HEy guys, been a while since I've posted anything on here, but I wanted to let ya'll know I'm still alive and kickin' it! Here are some pretty artsy arrow points I've made over the last few weeks. Hope you guys have been good and you've enjoyed the re-runs of my episode of Naked and Afraid. They keep re-playing it! Well, enough blabbering. Enjoy the pics!

Those are some nice points but I never took you as an artsy fartsy sort of guy... ;)

Awesome!

Thanks guys, glad ya liked the points! And yes Tracy I'm working on more DVD's, most notably Making the California Paddle Bow and Arrows. I flew out to Oregon last summer, met up with Steve Allely and spent 2 weeks filming with him. I've got some awesome footage of some ORIGINAL Hupa bows that are over 100 years old and will be featured in the DVD. Then we went into the Cascade Mountains to collect the same materials the Hupa used to make their bows and arrows (yew and syringa). Then I went to Glass Buttes and filmed collecting obsidian for the points. I'm in the process of filming the construction of the bow, then it's on to the arrows. I've also got Primitive Instinct Vol. 2 in the works. I'll let ya know when they're done!!

Artsy fartsy my aunt fanny! That's just damn fine knapping!

Those are spectacular..what are the top two made out of..?
You mentioned Glass Buttes, have you ever been over to the Fort rock area?
-
Hey Billy, I'd recognize who made the points anywhere. Really nice stuff.... Talking about the points not the N&A! ;D
-
For some artsy-fartsy crap, I guess it's classy-gassy!
The new video sounds pretty cool, too. Including the originals makes the reproduction mean so much more.

Very nice work there!!
