Fella's I'm a long way from being a knapper but a friend of mine by the name of Butch Stone from the Ozark area of Missouri sent me a couple of points and they are sharp...Just thought you'd be interested...Wondered if any you guy's know Butch?

nice point

You're friend is very talented, put it on a stick.

Nice work and they look sharp. Not sure about your area but those would be considered barbed points and illegal to hunt with. May want to check state laws if you plan on hunting with those.
-
I like the shape and size of that point. Looks perfect for hunting but too bad that even with those small barbed notches it may not be legal, I'm pretty sure the ones in charge in my home state would not allow it. >:(
In my opinion though those barbs aren't excessive enough to be disallowed.

As far as I can research I'm clear to hunt with these here in SC... Archery (50-11-565) There are no restrictions on draw weight/length, arrow weight/length or broad head weight, width or style...
All right now don't all you guys start trying to move to S.Carolina! >:D
