Title: Points plus a little more
Post by: hbbows on June 03, 2014, 11:29:34 pm
There's a lot of great points on this site.  I have gotten a lot of inspiration from all of your work and especially grateful to those I met and knapped with at the Classic.  I was amazed at the caliber of those that I sat in the "PIT" with and their willingness to share techniques.  Here's a couple of previous knives that I have done.

Not enough coffee yet and had to look again at the carving. :o Those are unbelievable in detail. I'm really liking the bighorn ! Blades are killer too, nice work.

While in South Dakota I was invited to Hank's game feast and it was really interesting. I ate many things that I have never tried before. Anyway, Hank auctioned off one of these knifes for a children's  charity. JW played the role of auctioneer and I did the holding the knife in the air part. These knifes are collected by folks from the area and go high dollar. Hank those knifes are really nice and it is great that you use your talents to help others, you and your work is top notch. Really enjoyed knapping with you afterwards.

Did you do a "carve" along for the handle work?
