Title: leaf prints on fabric
Post by: aaron on May 28, 2014, 10:52:23 pm
My girlfriend has been experimenting with leaf prints on fabric. Basically, you put some leaves on fabric, roll it up, dunk it in various potions ...and...voila... a leaf print. she's incorporating this into scarves and clothing- like my new custom cammo hunting shirt. The pic below shows a eucalyptus leaf on knitted silk.  Could this be a business opportunity?

Do the colors stay after washing the fabric?

the fabric has been treated so the colors will stay. Keep in mind all colors do fade with repeated washings.

Looks really nice.

Wow that looks really neat man.  Tell her well done.   That's a real business opportunity for sure.
