My wife sent me out to find some flat rocks for her landscaping project and being the good husband that I am I obliged her. I didnt throw the chainsaw in the truck on purpose because I knew if I did I would get sidetracked and end up coming back with a truckload of logs instead of rocks and that would not sit well with her >:D But when I saw a stand of some of the cleanest erc Ive ever laid eyes on I couldnt help myself. I had to dig around under the truck seat and find my little pruning saw to cut it down with. I only got this one log as it was a pretty good chore to cut it down with the little saw but I will go back with the chainsaw and get some more when Im not looking for landscape rocks.

You did the right thing by taking time to cut that nice straight erc log Okie, that is as long as the wife also got her landscaping rocks as well. ;)

Thanks fellas and yes I did get a whole truckload of rocks so the wife was happy too. Another plus to having fresh cut erc is my shop smells great! Heres a pic of the small end of the log, decent ring count but i was hoping they would be a little thinner.
