I'm being tutored in the making of my own longbow, so I'm hoping to make that my shooter and trade my recurve.
It's a Shakespeare Necedah, 58" and rated 45#@28". This line is from the 70's and it's a used bow so some small dings should be expected. Aside from that, it's in fine shape and the finish has held out all these years. I did improvise and arrow rest/strike plate that I made out of an old leather glove, which may not be to your taste, but you could always take that off.
Now for trade, I'm looking mostly for tools. I have very eclectic interests so the list of possibilites is vast and may exceed what I have listed.
My top priorities are metal-working tools, specifically blacksmithing equipment:
Post vice, hammers, forge or forge components, hardie tools or swedges, chisels and punches, belt-grinder or components (contact wheels, pulleys, motor), welder or equipment, etc.
Other tools I'd like:
Drawknives, spokeshaves, axes (carving sorts) hand saws and hand drills.
Also, I'd trade for a shave horse if anyone is willing to ship it and can spare it. Now I understand this model doesn't fetch a very high price, so I don't expect to trade for a new Lincoln welder or Gransfor's carving axe (fingers crossed ;D) but I'm pretty handy so if there's something sitting in a shop that needs light repair that you'd like to get rid of, I'd take it. Naturally those closer to my area would take priority for large items. If you can think of anything related to the things above feel free to offer it!
Thanks!

Nicest one I have seen in 20 years...Wish I was a lefty. Makes mine look well used...
-
Beautiful wood, I'm still tempted to throw out an offer even though it's a lefty.
-
Mullet,
There's always thumb rings! ;D
-
Mohawk,
This is my first bow, though it's not saying much as I've only been shooting 2 years. I read up on them when I was looking for my first and held off for a long time till I found this one. I think it was on C-list and I got it from a guy in Northern CA. I was stoked to actually find one, and left-handed!

Full Draw. Please ignore my poor form. I haven't shot in a while

Looks fine to me......The Necedah was named after the Famous Archery meets that were held there in the past(Necedah, Wisconsin)...This bow would be a VG+ to collectors. Many of these were used to death, and I can tell You My right handed one is my go to bow when I am in nasty terrain, and it looks it....It has never let me down. Fast, accurate, and no hand shock...

Well crap, I think I just finished cleaning out all my knifesmithing equipment a few weeks ago. Pretty sure I don't have much of anything left at all.
