Just bought this today...don't know much about it except my wife and I really liked it.
Any info on it would be greatly appreciated!!
It is cane and a little over 5 feet long and the point is steel.

That is a very cool arrow. Try Goggling "antique steel fishing points" Looking forward to reading what you find out.

A friend has 4 of them with different hammered points, and a forged ax along with a crude bow. The ones he had came from the Congo, and was bought in the thirties or forties. His had Guinea feathers.

MAN!! I'd love to find a cool @$$ arrow like that in an antique store. That thing is awesome. African? Maybe Appalachian, how about a pikeing arrow?

That looks like it would get the job done. It'd be cool to do a replica of that one, and take it carp fishing >:D. What did you pick it up for ? If you don't mind me asking ::)
