Hey y'all I'm writing this from the little air terminal in Kandahar Air Field Afghanistan. In about 30 mins ill be boarding my plane outa here ! It's been almost 8 months, not as physically taxing as last year but still a productive rotation none the less. I got to do things this time that will never be equaled in stateside livin some of the coolest most exciting experiences of my life took place over here. This makes a total of 4 yrs I have spent in this country and I know I won't be coming back. This drawdown is full on. Every day sites close and buildings are bull dozed as we pull out. Kinda makes me a little nostalgic but happy I was able to be a part of the effort but there is always other theaters and new chapters to open !
Hey I also wanna thank all you guys for the support too ! Ill tell you what there had been many boxes of stone sent over here for me to chip on during my down time, I can't begin to tell ya what a morale booster it is to sit down under a tree in the evenings and chip out a point. All in all I made almost 200! Damn! Y'all know who you are and thanks again for that !
Ain't gonna be able to make the classic but it's probably for the better y'all don't need me drinking all your beer and breakin all that Kentucky blue !
Be easy guys !

Have a very safe trip home, and thank you for your service and all the sacrifices you had to make. Would love to meet you at Eddies, some time, heck I will even show you where Eddie keeps the beer. ;) Be neat to watch you and Roger knock out some of those amazing points. Heck would even be neat just to watch Eddie, knock em out, as I drink his beer, and eat his food. ;) ;D ;D ::)
