Good deal! put some antler handles on it.

ooh - good idea - antler handles!

Plenty of life left in that antique! Antler handles would look cool.

Nice. Went looking for one today at the junk stores and came up empty handed. The Amish buy these up quick and You have to be there earlier than they are or you miss out...I missed out.
-
don't have to worry about the Amish here the closest Mennonites for about 40 minutes away 45 minutes

Most of the ones that I fine are bent.
Looks as if someone propped the ends on something about 1 or 2 inches high and then pushed down on the middle until they bend???? The bent ones are still priced at $25 to $30 dollars. Pass then up.

They made a curved blade draw knife, lots of them out there, I don't like them for bow making.
