Title: Reproducing Jin dynasty korean target arrows

I was doing some digging, and dontcha know I found something about the old koreans.  They had this target arrow...

Tonkin bamboo with duplex nails.  Gents, we nailed it without even trying.

I bet those are some that some poor PAer lost while out stumping and then some scientist or something found them and thought they were artifacts  :o >:D ;D

I don't think our duplex nails are wrought iron. Pretty sophisticated process there in and of itself. What worked then still works today, it is pretty neat how similar they came out. I wonder if whoever thought of using duplex nails had ever seen these arrows or if it just sort of paralleled based on the materials available.

I didn't know much about the Korean Jin Dynasty so I Googled it.  Turns out the Jin Dynasty dates between 1115 and 1234.  I wonder how those arrows managed to look so good after 800 years?
