Title: butternut arrows
Post by: JEB on April 04, 2014, 08:04:38 am
Anyone made arrows out of butternut.  If so how did they work.  I made a couple od dozen last night.  They came in between 40# and 55# pounds.  We made them out of three different boards.

I've never made any. Let's see some pics.

Have you shot them yet?

John , Butternut seems to light weight to me and to brittle so I have not tried it, but if the spine is good you may as well give it a go .
Let us know what you find
Hope to see ya soon !
